I'm wanting to add hanging storage to my Popup but can't find information on the do's and don'ts of screwing into the ceiling. It seems that most people that have hanging shelves use hooks that were already installed from the factory. Any body have any tips and what types of hooks and fasteners to use for this application?

I personally don't trust the ceiling to hold much of anything up. My camper came with a clothing hanger factory done and its already torn out of the ceiling leaving a gosh awful hole. Some people here have made a pressure mounted rack system that enables you to add shelves above your sink etc. I personally use a pressure bath rod in front of each bunk and use a sweater organizer. Sorry, not the best picture: I've Gorilla Glued hooks all over the ceiling - everywhere the sticky foam that came with the hooks have failed. Sticky foam/hooks were after market. Hard to tell, but I painted the GG ooze with white nail polish [:D] What is hanging from those hooks is my wardrobe, DW's stays in her tote at the foot of the bed.

Personally I don't hang anything from the ceiling. I have a 3 tier shelf that goes on the end of the counter. It is sufficient for clothing and some personal items. Almost no cooking or eating done in the PUP so pretty much all room in the PUP is living area.
