I am looking for a way to turn on and off the 120 volt power to the fridge from inside the camper. I don't think the plastic 90 degree locks for the outside fridge access cover will last a long time with continued use and they are a pain for me. I know my outlet by the sink has a breaker that if tripped will shut off the fridge.

Has anyone added an inside switch to control power to the fridge?

    Why not change the locks?

Welcome :) we really like them, I just try not to drop them in the dirt. The bolt is captive.

If it's a 2-way fridge, just switch it to propane.
