How to grease/lube leveling crank

    I took my 2008 Jayco 1006 pop up camper out last weekend and the front crank that is used to level front to back was nearly impossible to turn. I'm wondering how best I can grease this thing up as we'll be camping again in 2 weeks. Would WD40 work? How bout the lube that's used for the garage door springs? I've got to figure something out before we go. The crank on my Jayco is similar to the image I've attached to this thread. Crank.jpeg

    I watched the first few minutes of this video, so I'm not sure how it ends, but give it a try. Camera work could be better.
