Ive been talking back and forth to a local dealer about what they have in stock that i would be able to tow, and they have several 2012 and 2013 Vikings at blow out prices. If i can convince the wife of a road trip i might just have to go new Vs Used
They have mentioned they have a bunch of the Epic 2107s ive looked at pictures and it may just be love
No worries about how anyone treated it, and at prices to make room for the 2014s... Just gotta get the security deposit together and off we will go.
Hate to be a wet blanket, but I'd skip Viking if I were you. There's a reason why they still have a lot of 'em on the lot...
They have others too from what she said. Were Taking a drive up since their website leaves something to be desired. Theres also like 3 other dealers in that area.. I'm being good though and taking the car as the truck would cost us more if we don't get something, then ill just go up mid week when i get paid again to pick it up Ill post photos if i get something today
Ok So i was a bad boy after all Pending financing going through of course a brand new never left the lot hold over Viking Epic series 1906. We got a killer deal on it for 6 grand and some change for doc fees etc. Should hear no later then Monday, and if it goes through will be 100 percent gone through by the dealer and got ready for my pickup the week after. We looked at the 2107 and as much as the extra room was nice the layout of the 1906 worked well for us, and is a bit lighter to tow! Hoping all goes well with financing so we can get to camping!! I almost wanted to see how much the rockwood high Waller they had was going for but that's way too heavy for us to tow it was monstrous!
I bought a used 2005 Viking Legend a year ago and love it. A single lady was the original owner and she just didn't camp that much so I got a good deal and no regrets. Best of luck on the financing and enjoy your camping and making family memories.
Im Thinking positive As long as it goes through it gets to come home the week before memorial day weekend. The bands playing at a campground to boot memorial day weekend so i might just have to see if there is any open PUP spots
That's very exciting. Our 2000 Coleman is taking a lot of nickel-dime repairs. Buying new sounds wonderful. Wishing you the best of luck!
Weve had 2 in the past that were used, a 1987 Palomino Pony, and an 94 Dutchman 1002, the Pony was sold to get the Dutchman, and the Dutchman was sold to pay for my step daughters medical bills for her broken leg surgeries. We are finally in a better place financially, and have a nice TV to tow one and decided to go for it again. This time new was the way to go! No past owner problems, wondering how it was maintained, i can control that.
