Well, I never really left the portal, just wasn't active much. We had sold our PUP a little over 3 years ago and moved from FL to VA. Well, we finally purchased a new POP (well, it is used). I just purchased a one owner 1985 Coleman Sun Valley in great shape (was garaged kept when not in use). It really only needs tires and a hand pump faucet. I could take it camping tomorrow.

My question to everyone is this. The owner told me it was a Canadian model (he bought it in NY). It has a queen bed up front and a double in the back. All information I find is that this model should have two double beds. Therefore, I really do believe him when he says it is a Canadian model. However, I can't find any information on this particular model. I have all the original brochures and receipts (even the original purchase price of $4,400). Other then the beds, is there anything special/different about this model? I believe it is actually called a 1985 Coleman Sun Valley XL.

I'll be cleaning it up this weekend and I'll be sure to snap a couple of pictures.

A bed by any other name would allow for a sweet night's sleep.

    Measure it![LOL]

    Welcome back.

Not sure why this was moved to a "Pre-Purchase" forum. I have already purchased. LOL! Either way. Thanks everyone!

Welcome back to the portal from North Carolina!

Here is some info on how to identify if it is a Canadian model (1984 decals were black and in 1985 may have been too but I have a red decal on our 1998.)

If it's a Canadian model you can only tow with a vehicle that registers Kilometers on the speedo........oh....and the beds?....we just like everything a Lil bit bigger up here!

Very good information! I just looked and it is a black CSA sticker. I guess it is Canadian. I only bought this one because we needed at least 1 queen bed.
