Hi my name is Julie and I used to be a regular here many moons ago. I'm originally from metro Detroit and spent most of my summers camping in my pup in northern Michigan. From the time I was a young child I always wanted to live "up north" on a farm, 8 years ago I decided to realize my dream. I sold my house, got a job transfer, and bought a house on 10 acres in Frederic Mi. Frederic is between Grayling and Gaylord, not sure where that is? I'm about an hour south of da bridge, (Mackinac Bridge). So for the last 8 years I've been learning about farming and growing my hobby farm. I have about 50 egg laying chickens and sell their eggs, 4 ducks, 8 goats, 2 dogs, 5 cats and a pond full of Koi fish. I also have a large garden and hope to start selling my produce at the farmers market in the next few years. Needless to say I haven't had any time to camp, plus its hard to get away. I still have my pup and set it up every year and use it as a guest house. This year I decided that next summer I need to get away for a few days if camping. Setting up the pup is getting old and I like the idea of not having to crank up the camper and just open the door and toss stuff in. So I started to look at hybrids, still have that open air feel but just a little easier to set up. I found one that I like and brought it home, it needs some work and has no manual I'm going to need some help from you folks as I start to make the repairs.
