Planning a trip this weekend for a couple nights. I have never been to this park. If anyone has been lately any issues (bugs, water) to be concerned about.

    Thanks for any info.

Haven't stayed here in the summer before. We stayed over Thanksgivng week a few years ago. Had a real problem with bees getting in the camper. We must have killed a hundred of them. Hope you have a good time. Try to visit Longhorn Caverns near by. It's not like any cave we've ever visited. But it's a cool place.

We stayed in early spring when it was still chilly at night (hit my blog in my signature). As far a summer last year when we tried to eat outside if we had light then there where bugs EVERYWHERE.... I'm not kidding. If you got a screen room you will be fine. Also if you are going to swim at the Devils Water Hole make sure you have some floats and water shoes... trust me.
