I found this posted on Craigslist and though you guys might like it. I have never heard of a pop-up that is made like a covered wagon. Not sure if I did this right but hope you guys can find it this way

You put the link to the seller's email instead of the link to the listing itself.

I think that is so cool. I have always thought of popups as modern day covered wagons, for some odd reason. May I also mention that I was born in South Bend, Indiana and my mother grew up in Lakeville, where this camper is located. Now that is cool.

That's actually a brilliant idea. With literally thousands of pop-ups out there with rotted out roofs and lift systems so damaged they'd cost double the trailer's value to fix, I'm surprised nobody has done this before. Of course the slide out beds would go way, but if you started with a camper with a big enough box, there'd be plenty of room for a bed inside.

Every Livin Lite Quicksilver pop up uses this technique. There are no soild roof, just the canvas tent top.

    Why Quicksilver?

But it doesn't look like a covered wagon. I want a covered wagon.

[:)C] Thinking about how a tent that I had in the 70's was constructed, this might be a future project. for my old Starcraft with blown lifts and pulleys. I'll could put a tent on it. This would give me an extra pop up to bring family with us. Maybe I'm just a dreamer.

Just copy the address straight from the address bar at the top of your screen, right beside the "back and forward" buttons. :) Hope this helps [8D]

I'm not sure I like the fabric door. I like the solid door like most PUP's.

You know, I was thinking the same thing(my parents first PU was one with a fabric door, but not the covered wagon look.) I was thinking you could get an old Airstream door and frame, curved like that, and make it work.

I'm not the Wagon look type. I think I may like the Quicksilver with a solid door. I saw a video of a trailer made by "Dandy" for the UK.that has a solid door. Pretty cool .
