Has anyone heard that Starcraft is now out of business? Our RV dealer quit carrying Starcraft and switched to Rockwood, telling us that Starcraft is out of business. Has anyone else heard of this?

I spoke to the Starcraft rep at RV show because our RV dealership picked up the Starcraft line.
They are setting up a plant in Twin Falls Idaho and will be building Jayco and Starcraft trailers.
It will supply West coast and will not cost the dealers a bunch of money for transport from Indiana so they can pass the savings along to the consumer.

We've been dealing with Starcraft and there is no talk of them closing or going out of business, must be local

The company isn't "going out of buisness" per say. There was a merger and as Hvac said Jayvo and Starcraft are basicaly going to be the same company built in the same plant, but still independant matketing and style. It is likely that the floor plans will become the same, just different trim and fabrics. They will kind of be the Ford/Mercury of the camper world. Have the same guts but different style.

Our local Starcraft dealer is no longer there! We purchased our first trailer from them and it is sad to see them out of bussiness. I am not sure if another Starcraft dealer is in the Seattle area or if it will just be Jayco now?

Yes, Jayco pulled Starcraft production to the Middlebury plant. Production will continue in Middlebury for now.

The Starcraft will not be built to the same standards as the Jayco products, they will remain the same as they are now.

Starcraft owners DO NOT have to worry about the manufaturer going out of business as Jayco is financially sound and still run by the founding family.

You guys are safe for now and that came straight from Jayco!

I just looked at the new Starcraft and they appeared to be rebadged Jaycos.

The windows and shades were Jayco, not Starcraft. The cabinetry inside was definitely Jayco and not Starcraft.

Is this just an interim thing or will the new Starcraft all be rebadged Jaycos like the 2009's I've seen so far?
