Hello this is my 94 1206 with original canvas. This is a small journey of its life with me haha

I wanted to add an A/C however the roof was rotted along with the sides .....and front ends haha also note the factory support around the vent for the ac hahah

So I decided to reconstruct the whole roof and add some structure for the ac support.

I did the complete rebuild for under 300.00 I reused the factory roof skin. I has some bumps but I don't care as long as it seals out water. The most expensive part was the eternabond tape which was you can see I used absolutely everywhere. I did not want to ever worry about leaks.

Finally all that work so I can finally add that A/C... I had a local metal shop put a slight arc in 2 pieces of 7 ft square tubing and fab some brackets to add extra support under the wood frame I built. I wanted it to be strong while bouncing down the highway.

If you made it this far, thanks for looking at my camper.

I appreciate the comments!! I have to change my signature tow vehicle from a 93 to a 98. I'm very upset about my 93 haha.

Nice job. Good looking pup! Pictures of the A/C support would probably help others in need.

I don't have a picture of the metal supports in the camper. I have an extra one unpainted in my garage so I took a pic. As for the brackets they are just a U shape that allows for fasteners to go into the wooded structure.
