This is just one of the rear end until I pull the PUP out again and take some pictures of the other work I've done in the last 2 weeks.

Here's a list:
Replaced or repainted and resealed all of the outside fixtures.
Replaced all the light lenses.
Replaced rear license plate light.
Repainted all light base bezels.
Added spare tire cover.
Repainted entire frame and tongue with black truck bed coating.
Repainted wheels (including spare)
Replaced safety chains with self coiling cables.
Added hitch lock
Replaced broken sink drain.
Rebuilt pump faucet so it works.

I'm waiting for this stuff the mail to add to the list:

14"x8' piece of diamond plate to put on lower front area to cover a dent in one corner and add future protection.

Replacement stabilizer jack for rear left where the previous owner ripped then old one off.

Anyways, maiden voyage this weekend to work out the kinks and everything before our two long trips this summer.

Wow - Your camper looks like what mine is only dreaming of looking like. Can you let me know where you're getting diamond plate? That's a great idea.

The diamond plate came standard on our 2007 Fleetwood Niagra, and I'm glad it did. We hit a big board and it went flying right into the diamond plate on the front and dented it. It would have poke a hole in the skin if it wasn't there. So diamond plate is worth every penny you pay for it.

Seeing your licence plate frame makes me miss Long Beach. I moved to Seattle from there a few years ago. I lived @ 8th and Temple. The neighborhood was good and the ghetto bird wasnt to loud.

The diamond plate I got from a link I saw here: cutsmetal.net.

All installed:

The spare tire cover was a .99 ebay purchase. :D

How is the diamond plate attached? Did you have access to the interior to install backing for screws/bolts?

Nope, I just used #10x1" stainless oval head screws. Didn't even have to pre-drill the holes. I am going to add a bead of clear silicone caulk to the edges, and a dab on the screw heads though.

VERY nice work! Did cutsmetal bend the diamondplate too, or did you use separate pieces, or bend it yourself? How much did the DP cost? Very nice work, impressive! I look forward to seeing more pics of the progress!

nah, I just ordered the 14"x8' length and trimmed it to length, then measured where the bend would be and drew a line. Then I laid it on the edge of my deck and had the kids stand on the top section. Then I just gently bent it over the edge till it looked about right. Then when I screwed it in everything snugged up nicely.

I think it was about $50 shipped. Which was well worth it considering it covered up the dent perfectly. :)

Wow, pretty simple way to bend it properly, and it came out perfect! Thanks for sharing, this is DEFINITELY a mod I'll be doing at some point in the future! <img src=../Images/icons/icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle alt="Big Smile">

Yeah, I'm actually thinking of doing the 6" brown strip on the very bottom all the way around. It's the only area where the paint is showing its age, and this is a fairly cheap and REALLY easy way to cover it up.

Sweet, today I got the replacement vent put in, the new coiled safety cables, and the replacement Atwood stabilizer installed.

Tomorrow I need to get a new propane tank and once that system is tested, it's time to go. :)
