I am wanting to get a couple copies of the key used for our camper. I stopped at a big box store and local hardware store, neither of them were able to help me. Called the local camper/trailer store to see if they cut keys and said they don't.
Any suggestions as to who I can contact to get a couple keys made?

was the "camper/trailer store" you went to a dealer? If so, I'm really surprised they couldn't help you.

When I needed a key for my pup, I called the local dealer. They don't cut the keys themselves, but they use a local Ace Hardware store. So they sold me one copy and said if I needed more Ace is the place to go.

I stopped at Ace, and they said they weren't able to help me. I will try one other location and see what they can do.

Is there a number stamped on the key or the lock, if so use that to order a new one online.

    Welcome.
For both our 2010 Coleman pup and our 2015 Retro, we had no problems getting extra keys made at the local lock and key shop we use. In fact, we actually bought new lock inserts and keys for the storage locks on the TT, so they didn't use the same key lots of other campers use.

This is odd. Camper keys are usually realy basic and most of the times a blank that is redilly available. Like was asked earlier, does you key have a number on it? That is likely the blank you need. The local HWI Do-it had it for my 2000 Coleman.

    Is it an original lock?

If so, for your year it should be an 1101x key

Email Beckley's RV at www.colemanpopupparts.com or call (800) 653-3054. They should be able to help you as they bought out all Coleman's stock when they quit production. Coleman only used two keys in all the years they were in business. Mine is number 8025. Not sure when they changed to that number. Per mrjam2jab yours should be 1101.

If you cant find one, you could change the cam locks (the center core of the lock). I just did that cuz the keys were bent and the inside of the cam locks were all loose. For 4 cam lock things I paid $20. It wasn't a hard job to do either!

I think that further exploration for another local hardware store should be helpful. When we got our jayco a couple years ago now, the P.O. did not know where any of the keys still were. Not wanting to leave it at that, I went to a local dealer (Hilltop) with the number I took from the lock cylinder. Found a key in their box that matched. It was crazy-expensive, over $8, but I took that one, and went to my local Ace, and they had the same key blank, and cut me a few more, at something like $2.50 each.

Most big box stores cross reference off of the number on the key. For most keys the number refers to the key blank but on trailer keys the number is the actual key and cut.
You can look up and order the key based on the number on the key.
