I was looking at this unit yesterday and it was full price. This morning I got on to buy a different (less expensive) one and this one was 49% off! Can run on propane or gas! If you’ve been in the market, don’t miss this deal!

Neighbors like when the campground is quiet. They love you if you buy a Honda generator for $1000, rather than an inexpensive generator for $300.

Thanks for the info! We have been looking for a good deal on a propane generator to use the camper at home after hurricanes. We live in the boonies, with no neighbors, so don't care how loud it is. Our old gas powered one can be heard 1/2 mile away!

Fortunately I don’t make my buying decisions based on what my neighbors want.

I agree with you but if you rolled that thing out in a campground you would get to know your neighbors quickly and not in the best way. Out in the forest or at a NASCAR event, no problem. Plenty of inverter generators for a +$100.00 more that are extremely quiet.

That is a great deal for that type of generator if you need one. It will be loud and heavy, as others have mentioned, although it seems to be rated for 69dB or so, which is a little quieter than the basic cheap generator. Not for me - no room to haul it and I camp at electric exclusively anyway. I seem to recall Champion had some dual fuel inverter generators as well, but they are up there in price. Eventually I would like to pick up a Honda 2200 or something of similar wattage for emergencies or that super rare time I happen to be somewhere with no electric and it is hot, so I can run my A/C. Not a huge priority though.

Just clicked over to buy this and it's doubled in price today! [XX(][XX(]

I should have just ordered it yesterday instead of talking to DH about it. I hate missing a great deal.

Just keep checking the link every few days. Home Depot seems to run all of the Sportsmen generators on great sales on a fairly regular basis.

We been moving to solar. Have not had the gen out in many years. This reminds me. Service and run gen, put back away for long term storage. I might need in the next decade.

I would never ask permission for anything, just an opinion. [LOL] DH does sometimes ask my permission for things though. [LOL][LOL][LOL] And then, sometimes he just does stupid stuff without consulting me. ;)

Thanks, I will do that! I hope to find it this cheap again!
