We just spent 4 days at this campground. There are 56 sites two with electricty. It is on the eastern edge of the Olyimpic Rain Forest. This is temperate rain forest if you have never been to one you are realy missing out. There is only one in the world. Some of the sites are really small but we had a huge one could have fit three large tents. it is a very quite campground. You are three miles from the turnoff for Sol Doc hot spring 34 miles from Port Angelus and 21 miles from Forks, the home to Twilght and the vampires that live there. This was the first time we have been there and it didn't mist on us. So here are some pics.

Mark, how would you compare Klahowya to Quinault or the Hoh?

Its a little dryer, more private not as used as those two. and closer. It only filled on Satruday night. very very rustic. but farther from the ocean with only Sol Doc closes by, 4 miles, and Cresent Lake about 12 miles away. Forks is 17 miles. So not a lot to do great place to rest, take pictures, nap, wade in the river. We been there twice and will go back.

I was at Cresent Lake last week. I have been to the rainforest- its an awesome place and on our list to go again because my sister has never been. Thanks for the campground recommendation. I'll remember that.
