LA-Poverty Point State Park

    This park is brand new and was top notch! Comfort stations were extremely clean. Since the park is new, the trees that are planted are only about 5-7 years old and will be years before the park becomes "shaded", however there are about 4 sites on the very south end of the park that have shade.

    Although we didn't stay at the campground (we were SIL's guests in a cabin)we drove through and thought it looked really nice. We did notice signs about black bears and wondered if they were actually a problem.
