Hey John, I plan on showing up at your DOG in April. Probably not going to bring the pup though.
It's a party Andy....better grab a site quick!
sounds great about the dog, send in your regiisrration. To Leonard so we can have a gift prize for you, better grab a site fast. Looks like a good party for the rally
The campground does have a overflow section, first come first serve I believe. Not sure how those or those walk up sites work. Thou
We got the last electric site 87... Wow! It filled fast!
Looks like a great rally! Would love to see an updated list of people and sites.
Also, hoping there will be a geocacher or two among the crowd. Would love to grab a few group caches.
We're cachers so will be up for it. Back in the day the dw and I also did letterboxing but the kids have more fun running through the woods with my phone...
I am on vacation. Down florida. Right now with my wife and daughter, so service is sparstic, will update the list when I get home, looks like a great time again, a lot of new and old faces, so excited! Yes. The campground did fill faster than expected, as I didn't realize. How popular this place was during the summer months, for those wanting to still join us, not sure exactly if those first 6 sites are filled as they are considered walk in sites only, and the cabins also showing non reservable on line, my suggestion would be to call the campground directly and see what they say, hopefully more are available on a first come basis if possible. Please let me know ,if anybody finds out as I am new to camping at this location as well. John
Yesterday I grabbed site 84 for Saturday & Sunday.
Today campsite 20 is available for Friday 7/21 only.
The only other sites available as of right now are walk-up only, which are
This is what the website has posted on walk-in campsites...
"Most parks have a limited number of campsites that cannot be reserved and are designated for walk-in customers only. Additionally, as a walk-in customer, you can camp on any reservable site that has not been reserved. If you are coming to a park on a walk-in basis, please stop at the camp office upon your arrival to register with the staff or to complete the self-registration process. When self-registering, please be sure to read all notices and information at the self-registration station. We cannot guarantee availability to any walk-in customers."
SBradley,.... welcome to the PARTY ,
Looks like the campground is full and we missed out. I'll keep an eye open to see if one opens up, but I'm open to other options.
If any one knows of any campgrounds nearby we'd could do that and at least stop by for the potluck and to visit.
I really wasn't expecting the campground to fill up that fast
