Hi, my 2008 Rockwood Pop Up is leaking at the water supply hose connection after I connect the hose to it. The filter/washer that is in the connector does not look bad but I was thinking about replacing it. Do you recommend that I purchase the filter/washer for the hose connection at an RV store or do they have them elsewhere?

    Thanks in advance.

is it the filter and washer thats leaking? You can get those anywhere. If its leaking elsewhere, like inside the camper fitting , it may be broken. You use a pressure reducer right?

It’s hard to tell. It doesn’t appear to be leaking inside the camper. The water is leaking right behind the E2DC8F58-7F7E-4908-9115-0244C0E407FD.jpeg 2F1175A8-2DD4-42FA-AEB1-774465153835.jpeg female water connector. I’ve enclosed two pictures. One picture is of the connector with the filter\washer and the other one is with the washer removed. My hose does not have a pressure reducer.

I haven't been able to find them locally since HD drove out all the old hardware stores, but they're available on amazon.

Ok, did you use a pressure reducer? You may have blew the line apart after the conection? If you take the screws out you can pull the plate with the conecter attached to it. I think i replaced mine with a new pex fitting and a hose clamp. Thats if it isnt just leaking at the washer part. They should also sell the whole part on amazon, not sure.

Thanks guys. I so appreciate your knowledge. I'm going to try with a new washer and will buy a pressure reducer, for sure.

Mine leaks like crazy for a minute or two until the washer swells up and seals the connection.
