Just bought some super high wind PUGs. I’m going to do the Velcro install and am wondering who folds them up on the bunk ends vs takes them off every time. Thanks!

I lower the top so I can reach the velcro side, then shake off debris, remove, fold and store between the bunk end folds.

Remove. The pugs and the canvas will dry out better.

I leave them on. I shove them in along with the tenting material. If its wet I open the camper back up to let the tenting and PUG dry out when I unpack. But I never take the PUGs off.

I leave mine on. I do take them off at the end of the season to give things a good wipe down and store them at home while the camper is in winter storage. Just before close up I release the bungees to allow airflow under the pug and vinyl top to help take care of any moisture that is trapped. If it was particularly wet I finish when I get a chance to fully air it out at home. If it’s windy when closing I may have to take them off. It usually goes everywhere but inside the camper in the wind.
