I have a 91 Rockwood Lite 2360 and am trying to repair the lift system. This has the chain-drive, push-rod system. Here's a link to the illustration from the manual.

What happened was the roll pin connecting the sprocket (17 in the illustration) that connects the crank to the front lift section sheared. We've been able to remove the sheared pin but are wondering about alignment before installing the new pin. Since we don't think the push rods are at the right height at this time we are thinking we have to install the new pin when we have the roof completely down. This way the front will lift level with the back. Of course to do this I'll have to remove a bunk and then go in once the roof is down.

Does this sound like the right approach? Does anyone have any hints or suggestions?

    Thanks,

    John
