So I am in the process of adding a lift to my LL/QS camper; I will be adding 14" wheels and all-terrain tires. My goal is to be able to take it off-road and add a little more ground clearance and to raise it up level with my lifted Jeep Wrangler. I have installed 2" x 3" x 12" long 0.25" T6 6061 aluminum rectangular tubing in between the axle mounting brackets and the frame mounting brackets using 1/2" Grade 8 hardware, $64 shipped from McMaster Carr. http://www.mcmaster.com/#6546k281/=o8hii0 I purchased a pair of 14" x 6" steel trailer wheels, 5 on 4.5, with 0 offset, $76 shipped from Recstuff.com. http://recstuff.com/14X6-5-4.5-Silver-Spoke-Trailer-Wheel.aspx I purchased a pair of BFG AT/KO's, LT195/75-14, $256 shipped from Discounted Wheel Warehouse. http://www.discountedwheelwarehouse.com/BF_Goodrich_All_Terrain_T_A_KO_Tires.cfm?pn=BFG%2D34557&pID=188 I'll post up pics once all the work is completed. I also plan on removing the PVC bed bunk poles storage tube under the frame for added ground clearance. In addition, I will modify the stabilizer jacks on the corners by adding 3" stand-offs at each and under the entry step if needed.
