We stayed at Lock A campground located near Ashland City in Middle TN this weekend. This is a small campground with 45 sites, some on the water. It is run by the Core of Engineers. We stayed in site 11 which was close to the bath house and was in full shade with a gravel pad. 30 amp hook up and water worked flawlessly. Lots of places to fish, a playground and basketball court for the kids; nothing else to do within the campground although there are hiking trails close by.

Great place to stay if you want to fish, boat, or jetski. For just straight camping, I would go somewhere else.

    Pluses:
    Nice water view
    Boat dock/ramp
    Clean bathrooms
    Clean campground

    Minuses:
It was noisy Friday night and there was no one controlling things.
My trashcan was full when we arrived and remained that way through the weekend.

    Hope this helps someone.
