About a year and a half ago, I bought a Coleman 220K for $10 off Craigslist and with the help of some members here got it running great. https://www.popupportal.com/threads/10-coleman-dual-mantle-lantern.116309/

At the time I was warned that once you have one Coleman GPA they tend to start multiplying. I've done my best to resist collecting these things but it's been a struggle. As a result, I now have five -- the 220K mentioned above, a pair of 220Es, a 228E and this 200A that showed up in yesterday's mail.

As you can see in the photos this lantern -- dated 7/68 -- is clean as a whistle, which I find remarkable considering it's 51 years old. Two of the others are in really nice shape but not as clean as this. I don't have any fuel at home so I haven't tried to light it yet, but everything turns so I'm hoping the worst case scenario will be replacing the generator. We're going to Table Rock Lake in southern Missouri next week and I'll see if I can get it going then.

Very nice! I’m quite jealous. It looks pristine!

Still have my old propane Coleman lantern, I need to get it out and working again. Relying too much on battery technology! Kind of miss the old hiss of a propane lantern. [LOL]

DW was putting out Christmas decorations this week and asked if she could use the 200A.

The cabinet in the photo is a pie safe that was a wedding present to my grandparents in 1900. 20191221_190409.jpg

Where do you camp at Table Rock? Branson is only an hour and half from me.

In October, we went to Old Hwy 86 Campground near Ridgedale. We were within "spittin distance" of Arkansas. It's a wonderful campground. It's very well kept and every site has a view of the lake. We'll definitely be going back.

Are you in the Rogers/Springdale area? We also like Beaver Lake. DW likes to go to Eureka Springs, so we normally stay on that side of the lake.
