The wife and I are looking at getting a high wall pup. We like some of the new models with pull out outside kitchens, but they seem to have gone away from the front storage trunk which also really appealed to us. Does anyone know of a new or used model that includes both these features?

Integrated front storage trunks have become less popular over the years, as many leaked, causing rot inside. There are some still being built. Are you looking new or used.

When you say an outside kitchen, many PuPs have a stove that can be mounted on the outside. Was this what you had in mind?

I am more thinking of the slide out type of storage trunk found in the 2006 or so Rhino pop up. It does not have the top lid that was so prone to leaking. As the kitchen goes, I am thinking of the combination sink and cook top that comes on some of the most recent high wall pop ups. We would be looking at late model used, as I would prefer to let some other buyer take the first big bite of depreciation.

    This style of outside kitchen

That's pretty nice, just short of going Hybrid or TT. [HY]

I just find it sort of odd that rockwood still has an extensive line of models with the storage trunk I want, and used to offer it in their high wall models, but don't offer that combination any longer. And of course, the pull out kitchen I want is only available in the last year to two in a high wall camper which no longer comes with the trunk. Come on rockwood make this model available.

I've never seen nor heard of a model anywhere that incorporates both.

I wonder if it had to do with weight. HWs are pretty heavy and adding more in a front storage trunk would make it that much heavier.

Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S3!

PLEASE! What a gorgeous PUP. Would love to have this outdoor kitchen and a storage bin and also a front deck for our bikes and trunks.
