I'm thinking about Letchworth for the week of July 4. I checked for availability and there's more than I expected to see. One particular loop #400 is almost completely open. Any insight on why that might be? Are some loops batter than others? Do you have a favorite spot?
I can't find my notes on Letchworth, but it's been 10 years since camping there, with our first pup. I'm thinking we stayed in the 600 loop; our site backed up to a chain link fence behind which was a bank with a good down slope. My old stomping grounds , visited many, many times until I moved West. Didn't get to camp until going back to visit. I looked on campsitephotos, but it appears they don't have any pic of Letchworth yet.
L O V E Letch! been a too many years since I've camped there (mostly in a tent though). Eager to get back there this summer...
