people around the bend from our campsite had a fire roaring when we walked the loop. yes, roaring....in this heat! their fire would be more appropriate in one of those sites in your pics

Yak...I was watching the ABC news yesterday and the weatherman said that there will be cooler temps on the way because of the "cooler Canadian air coming down." I started to wonder if there is another Canada somewhere because they are cooking steak dinners in parked cars here! But.... I prefer a brown lawn to a white lawn any day.

We went over to storage and got the boat out......now, all we have to do is survive the heat until we get to the lake!!! Just about to adopt the 'three-season camper" rule, or move to really northern Canada for July and August............take care everyone.

Won't do you much good to go to the Great Lakes...It was as hot and humid there this year as it was when I was in VA Beach in early June...
