I currently have an 86 Skamper and will be looking to upgrade with in the next couple months. I have my eye on a Jayco Jay 1207. Has a lot of the features we are looking for. Currently we have no extras on the Skamper. We are looking at getting an outside shower and an electric lift in the upgrade. Can the electric lift be run on battery or even use power from the TV or do you need to plug in? Same question for the outside shower, can we use battery power for the water heater and pump? What kind of draw is that on a battery? I would like to have battery power and solar chargers.. we generally boondock so showers and electricity would be nice.
