So after seven years in our beloved viking pop up, the wife and I made the jump to a new to us 2005 Starcraft 3606. We are heading out to Yellowstone in August and the wife decided we needed shower and potty facilities on board. We brought it home last night. We are heading out for a non camping weeks vacation tomorrow, so I won't be able to play with the new toy until after the 4th. We are really looking forward to camping in this new rig.

BTW, this thing is huge. Note how it is roughly the same size as my crew cab superduty.

Funny you said that, my camper and truck can't me more than an inch or two different in length....

Nice unit. We just picked up an 06 sequoia and I couldn't believe how huge it looked once I had it hooked up to my F150.

Yep, pretty similar. I snapped mine at the first rest stop we came to after towing the pup away from it's former owners. I am now vacationing at a lake condo and spending a lot of time thinking about our first trip with the new pup.

We have the same camper and absolutely love the space. High walls are so much nicer for storage. We still haven't tried the oven yet but love everything else, especially the potty.

We finally got out in the new high wall this weekend. It was great. We had a pretty strong thunderstorm Saturday night, and the camper was very dry and stable even with pretty high winds. I had ordered a bunch of stuff for the camper since we bought it and this was our first chance to use the BAL leveler, the gray water tote and all the LED lights I had installed. Everything worked great. Our next outing will be to Yellowstone in early August.

I too have got the urge to go with the high walls. A friend of mine in Arkansas really like his. He flipped the axles and made it even taller haha...

I suppose if I ever changed out my OFF-ROAD POPUP I would go with the Truck Camper and a small utility trailer...

My hero is MELLO MIKE from Arizona on another forum haha...

We do just fine with what we have in our 2008 Starcraft 14 RT model...

We have the same year and model as your new one! We love it! Although it has AC which is nice in the heat. Just bought it this year as well and are still learning all the tricks of it.

We had air in our last pup. In the eight years we owned it, we maybe only used it five or six times, but when we needed it, it was great to have. I will be adding air to this one. I just have to get over the fear of taking my saws all to a perfectly good roof.
