DW said it was time for a change. Casually started looking and found a 2010 Jay-Feather 226 Sport in like new condition. Should have the PUP on Craigslist tomorrow, bummer to have to sell it as I really like camping in the PUP.
Looking forward to new adventures in the Jayco.

Congrats on the N2U Jayco. Hope you come to enjoy it just as much as your pup, I know I enjoy my HTT even more than I did my pups. [HY] [PUT]

As I grew up, my family started our family vacation adventure upon a tent and the back of an s15 pickup with topper. Then we went up to a Montgomery Wards tent trailer towed behind the lil GMC. In time, my dad wanted something a bit more sturdy, so we went with to a Viking PUP. Putting the Viking up in the rain for a week convinced him the desire to going to the dark side. We already had Sierra 1500 for towing a 21 foot 5th wheel till eventually ended up with 28 footer towed by a Dodge Ram 2500 with Cumins. Now they just load the clothes in the car and just Motel hop, cruises, or tour bus.

I've witness the bigger the toy the more a pain, more expensive use, and harder to maintain thus the number times a year the use goes down. I know many my dad's friends uses and love those rolling mansions the 40+ fifth wheels and motor home. I think i'm happy being a simple camper pulling behind a work pony of a car like my Focus knowing I've more of my money going to the sites i want to see than into the equipment. Originally and still am till the pup's ready to travel, I tent camp everything fits inside a 4x4 custom built trailer. I travel down the hw 70+ with ac running with average mpg of 34.

I don't want to discourage anyone from getting what they want, just something to think about from personal experience.
