Happy March - the days are lengthening for those of us in the northern hemisphere, and spring will officially begin this month, which makes this person very happy.
For those needing it, here is your battery charge reminder.

Just past 7:30 a.m. local, so no time to have done much for the camper yet. At 8, I will make reservations for our Labor Day week trip, so we'll see how that goes.

Yay - reservation made for our Labor Day trip, got one of the sites high on my "best guess" list, made from the campground map and campsitephotos dot com pic. (Our friends suggested the campground and a general section of it they liked.) It is Courtenay's Friday off, so we combined that with the holiday for a nice week. I'll text our Tucson friends with our site number so they know where we'll be when they make their reservations. I think they plan to join us on Tuesday, they don't want to deal with holiday campers nor the going-home traffic on Monday. This is a totally new area of Arizona for Courtenay and me, so a few days to explore on our own will be fine.

I'm getting itchy to get out into the trailer and work but it's covered and the weather is supposed to be bad again (wind and fire weather warnings). We usually uncover it by mid to late March, if we have a trip in April, but my first trip isn't until the second week of May, weather permitting.

Sadly I cancelled a trip for March. My company is going through layoffs and don't feel comfortable taking a vacation potentially giving them an excuse. [V]. This month is going to be very interesting. Perhaps I could take my birthday weekend off. Haven't even seen my camper since it was put in storage. I did buy that break a way line that was mentioned in the February post. So will want to install that. Honestly feeling so stressed lately I haven't been in the mood to work on anything.

I'm sorry work is difficult.

It's 70Degrees here in SW Ohio and I'm itching to uncover the popup! I to had to cancel an April trip due to work worries and needing to travel for work. (travel or find a new job). It does give me time to put new brakes on the popup though.

I looked over my "visual" to do list aka, the P/U itself. Thinned some exterior paint and shot it on the metal just to see if I like the color. Just like vagov's problem, here its 68 one day then 40 with gusts up to 50mph the next. Hopefully weekend is good.

Our new "toy" arrived, an hand-held digital anemometer, which also has temperature and relative humidity readings. It will be fun to see what wind speeds we encounter while camping. It will also be interesting to see just what the wind speed is when we decide that the awning is getting too unstable and needs to be rolled up. The manufacturer suggests something like 20 mph, but we're not sure it's even that stable with some wind directions.

We finally remembered to stop at the dealer and buy new bearing covers. We'll have an extra again. We lost one at the beginning of our Sept trip last year and could not find replacements that worked for a long while. At least the tape over the end of the replacement one that was in the toolbox has worked for 3/4 of a year, we never did find where the rubber insert went.
Ordered another shade/rain structure, same Big Agnes as we already have. We know it works, we just need a bit more space, eseiclaly if we have the outdoor kitchen set up and want to sit under shade too. We were thinking about another Big Agnes canopy/screen house. I checked with friends and the one we were considering is the one that they found difficult to set up, and it blew down after a couple of uses. They said we'll probably be happy to have a canopy when we meet them for Labor Day week, when they stayed at the same CG last year, it rained every day.

We’ve been packing clothes and dry goods in these 16”x24”x8” hefty boxes. Kind of annoying to have to rotate the boxes every time we need to get in a lower bin. I had some old 1/2” plywood pallets from work and put this organizer together. The pieces slide together like a puzzle and the hefty boxes slide in and out without all the shuffle. Ended up being more stable than I originally anticipated.

a drill adaptor for lowering the stabilizer jacks
BIG time saver! I went from 4 to 5 minutes of cranking (and 5 minutes of huffing and puffing) to about a minute to lower/raise the stabilizers.

I went out to check on the camper at the storage yard on Saturday. Batteries fully charged via the solar panels. So all good. Will bring the camper home on the 18th or 25th (weather permitting) for a weekend of Spring cleaning and de-winterization. Working on my To-Do List now.
