Has anyone stayed there? do you have pics?

We will be there next week, and I have no idea what to expect.

    We love Greenbriar and Cunningham.

Well, I was disappointed in this park. The shower house was not sufficient for the number of campers (1 bath house for 75 camp spots). The people were nice and it was very well maintained. Just not one of my favorites. Also, we had the worst spot in the park. The kids had a blast, and it was so close to home, we will probably go back, but not on a holiday and not for a long stay.

Of all the Maryand State parks I have been to, this is my least favorite.

twinsmom, have you tried Little Bennett Regional Park? It's on our list but haven't found the time yet. It's close to you as well. We reconned it in December. There are a few pics in my yahoo album.

We would like to visit here as well. I found some pictures while searching a Sierra Club website and it looks like a great area.

Just got back from Patapsco SP and found it to be a very nice pretty SP. About the only thing I didn't like was the pump out for the campers was on the side of the road in one of the one way loops thus when some one was pumping out you had to wait for them to finish to go through.

I know this is an old thread but has anyone else camped here more recently?
I'm looking at this place for May 13th-14th.
We are attending the M3 rock festival in Columbia, MD.
    Any reviews?

Stayed there last year. it is a nice camp gound. Bath house is clean but not big. Don't bring firewood due to ash boorer beatle. Nice play gound for kids up by entrance to camp ground. Trail by river may or may not be closed they are removing the union dam from the river to improve fish spawning. Removal was supposed to start sometime this year. last year they had two hosts that sold firewood not to expensive. site was 30-35 dollars a night last year. About 10 min from Columbia on good traffic day. My son and I had fun there, it was our first trp in the pup.
