We are in the process of sanding and priming our 95 Jayco 1206 and came across this sticker. Does anyone know if we can legally remove it or do we need to keep it on there?

    Thanks Bunches

I don't have an official answer, but that one I believe is OK to remove... it's for the original sale from the manufacturer.

If the sticker with the serial number, GVWR rating, etc. is still present I would not destroy that one.

If it is similar to a mattress tag, you may end up in prison if you remove it!;)

Reality: It's your camper and you can paint over whatever you want (as long as it isn't the tail lights).

maybe take a photo (keep digital file) print a good quality color image and glue it to inside of a cabinet door (and protect if from chafing), in case anyone wants to see it (e.g., the next owner).

This was going to by my real suggestion instead of going the "No useful information" route that I did take.

Thanks guys. I'll save the digital version as suggested with the paperwork just in case.

I like the metal ones that were riveted on.

If nothing else you could make a new sticker like this with the same serial number and have it printed on weather resistant vinyl.

Here is one I made for you if you go that route.

That's fantastic. Thank you for that. I'll definitely do that.
