Just got back camping this weekend at the Morgan-Monroe SF. Really nice, quiet park. If you want to avoid crowd and want a peaceful place to camp, this should be on your list.

There are two campgrounds and a playground. All campsites (about 30-35) are first come first serve basis. Facilities are 'okay'. Pit toilet (didn't bother us as we used porta-potti. No electric hook-ups (didn't bother us as we used our generator for few hours). Quiet time is 11p-7a. Rangers are really nice and helpful. There is one street light that I wish wasn't there. Only few (sites 12, 13, and possibly one more) are around that light.

Looks like a great spot! We often camp at Hardin Ridge. It seems like there is some good shade at Morgan Monroe!

Hi, @Corey Sanchez , I have been meaning to camp at Hardin Ridge, but my attempts failed due to other obligations. I would be curious to hear what sites you have been to and any recommendations or suggestions?

    Thanks!
