Didnt get a chance to read all the comments but a fan is a great way to keep them off. We have a battery powered one and a screen house. I think repellents depend a lot on the person. I can use anything and they stay away. My wife tried some of the stuff they give soldiers in the jungle and got eaten alive

Where does one obtain permethrin? We have a pop up screen room i would do that to.
Do you also spritz it on the netting?
Thanks.
Seems to me spraying netting would be a waste of product-- given most of the liquid spray will pass right through the netting into the air. Consider spraying just the solid portions of "room" near the ground, and the 'ceiling' where skeeters tend to accumulate. It's up to you. It's not the cheapest substance in the world, but one more thing to have in your arsenal.

You fold the net over so that it has more than one layer. That captures most of it. Ive also backed it with clothing that needed to be treated.

A bad day camping beats a good day at the office
I have a friend in Toronto named Chuck. Mosquitoes loved him and therefore everyone else was safe. All everyone needs is a friend like chuck.
I am a Chuck, unfortunately lol.

One nice thing about Minnesota, we don't have mosquitos about 6 months of the year. The other 6 make up for it though lol.

Last year I bought a rechargeable Thermacell. This is the type that recharges via USB instead of taking the little propane canisters. It's pricey and so are the refills, but it does seem to help.

Sorry to hear, Chuck. But he is very well liked by non mosquitoes as well. Aka...people.
