I am not sure any F150 is rated that high. If it is, it is a stripped down 2wd regular cab HDPP truck.

SRW Super Duties are only rated at 12500 and 15000 bumper pull if I remember correctly. The 3.73 truck is rated lower than the 4.30 truck.

Your payload is on the yellow sticker in the drivers door.

My 2016 F150 is rated at 12500, but it does have the complete tow package and is the V6 with ecoboost with aluminum body, but it is also a 4door. Where as my parents F250 is only rated at 12500 also, but it is like 13 years older too.

    Aluminum frame? No...Aluminum body? Yes

What is your trucks payload rating per the yellow sticker inside the door?

You must have a HDPP truck, because that's nearly double the payload for most crew F150s...HDPP trucks are kind of a rarity

That is an impressive number for a 1/2 ton!

Its not a HD, but here is the numbers straight off the brochure and then confirmed on the truck:

3.5L ECOBOOST For maximum capability, this direct-injection, twin-turbocharged V6 delivers 90% of its peak torque at 1,700 rpm – which holds on strong up to 5,000 rpm. 3,240 lbs. – Max. payload capacity

Now with that said, I'm not going to push it that far just as I don't want to be towing 12k either.

What the brochure says is max. Not all trucks are the same payload. Very few are rated at max.

What does the yellow sticker inside your drivers door say? That is the payload for your truck.

Ok , so i have to ask about the payload, thats whats in the truck right? You add the toung weight also? My GMC is about the same i think 3000. Its just a 4 door 1500 pick up. Tow rating are high also, because it has the max tow package and better gearing. I still would not be convertible towing a lot of weight as the TT now at 5500 or so max is a lot.

Yes, payload is cargo, passengers, tongue weight, and anything added to the truck after it leaves the factory.
