Wife admitted to spending over an hour shopping for class C's today...made my heart do a little bippity-bump.

Maybe 2 years, is my guess...

    Groan...
I hate the thought of pulling up camp just to run into town for something.
    More power to ya. [;)]

Well...make the best out of it, start looking for Cherokee or some cool older 4x4 with a manual xfer case you can make a toy out of.

Need that neutral to go 4 down easily [;)]

You don't have to pull up camp to go to town. Just drive your towed vehicle!

Our next will be a toy hauler of some kind. We would go the driving route as we love our motorcycles and not taking them camping is already making me crazy.
As soon the 4 yr old is moved out , we will go down that route. [:D] 14 yrs to go.

That's how I see it. Sure, some enjoy towing another car. I might as well be pulling a trailer then, and only have one motor vehicle to worry about.

Traveling in a motorhome home is a whole different experience. The car we tow behind is is just our 3rd extra car and in most cases our 4th extra car as 90% of the time I have a company car. That said, I do like to work on all stuff with engine, upkeep on the motorhome is easy.......everything thing is very accessible for service. The blazer is a "toy" to begin with and is now doing double duty....'toy' and 'tow toy'.

My friend went to a welding place to put a awesome platform at the back. He carries his little 50cc scooter and a 1000cc sport bike on the back. I always think if you get a small scooter and bike for local stuff you can always rent a car as needed. Plus the new scooters has big storage under the seat to fit a weeks worth of groceries.

Dad kept a bicycle just for that purpose. He's NOT a fitness nut. I tried to talk him into a bumper mount riding lawn mower aka campcruiser
