Looking for suggestions on eliminating musty smell from inside my 2008 Coleman Santa Fe. Bought it this winter and the previous owner I think only used it a few times in a couple years. I didn't see any evidence of water damage on the flooring or roof. I had it popped up in the driveway during a heavy rain storm and did not find any leaks. I removed the seat cushions and stored them in my house for the past couple month and they still have a little bit of a musty smell as well. Ready to take it out this spring but would like to get rid of the smell! Any suggestions on products, cleaning methods, or what works best would be greatly appreciated.

air it out and wash the whole thing. Clean the canvas with a mild soap & water or as the makers instructed than the interior with pine sol it will give it a nice clean outdoor smell.Good luck camp on.

Nothing that a little campfire smoke won't take care of!

Open it up in your garage and ...

-run an oscillating fan...more fans the better.
-spray with tea tree oil and lemon grass from a mister two to three times a day for a week

I had a trailer that smells so bad the neighbours would close, their windows. It worked.

I put cab fresh in ours to keep out rodents, it works wonders, and helps with musty smell as well.
