I've had my popup camper for around three years now, and have slept in it many times. But I have to confess that I am still afraid to sleep way out on the other end of my bunk. I know it says that it can hold up to 1,200 lbs, and I am about 1,000 lbs short of that. I always stay as close to the inboard side of the bunk as I can. I'm still thinking that it will collapse on me. Does it make anybody else nervous to be way out there?

Not one bit, and I am heavier than you. However I have the bunk shelf installed so it is more comfortable to sleep inboard for me so I don't hit my head.

I get nervous when our 2 small kids climb into bed with us in the mornings. We're not tiny people, and the total weight at that point is around 550lbs...Never actually felt anything moving or bending, but like you said I do feel a little nervous.

You'll be fine as long as you remember the support poles!

I recently bought a different pop up and at first I thought they redid the wood on the front bunk, or both, but the front one is the one that scares the daylights out of me, it the bigger of the two, its sagging, the front metal piece where wheel goes thru is crack..both ends, but when we crawl on the front bunk, I keep waiting for it to break totally, or collapse ..something..still waiting on answers on the front piece cut out.
