I like it! There's a good one on the Edgerton Hwy in Alaska we camp near too...

Driving from Quebec to western Labrador I came across this sign, basically an emergency evacuation point with GPS coordinates and instructions to use your satellite phone to call in for helicopter evacuation.
In small print near the bottom of the red section is the equivalent in french of 'additional charges may apply'.

I'm curious what the small sign, under the big sign, says. Looks like they literally added small print.

Sadly I didn’t take a picture of it, but there is a sign near a popular hiking path and fishing area where I camp that essentially reads “if you hear this horn, RUN to higher ground immediately”. The campground is thankfully on the high side of the dam, but all the hiking trails and best fishing is on the low side. Though that campground has flooded many many times too.

There is a sign on the way out of a campground that read: “did you remember: to lower antennas, lock slideouts, close roof vents, bring your wife and kids.”

Probably my favorite. Yes, it IS steep on this road. The drop from the summit to the Stanislaus river is spectacular.

Western Labrador? To confess I had to google that, but wow, that looks amazing. And way out there.

Just a boundary marker leaving USFS land entering BLM. BLM roads are usually decent, FS roads not so much.
