Quite often I set up the dome tent close to the p'up and it serves as a "storage shed" to keep things out of sight, especially when we take a trip to town or over to another fishing spot. AND ... should there be those unexpected guests who just happen to stop by for a visit and wonder where they could get a place to stay for the night (since it's such a nice spot!). "Oh, take the tent ... make yourself right to home!"

As it turned out there we some local astronomers that had a gathering last night. DD got to look through quite a few telescopes. Jupiter and and Andromeda we very clear. Was able to point outa few things in the night sky. Maybe, just maybe, dad is not quite so lame. [:D]

Not bad for only being 10 miles from home!

Rib eyes and a DO potato recipie for lunch. Budweiser by my side.

    LIFE IS GOOD!

Well, I'm writing this from campside, which is about 2 miles from home. I'll bet 10 miles feels a little farther now, huh? Doesn't matter how far from home you camp...as long as you camp!

i agree! The camp ground i went to this weekend is only about 20 minutes from home. I get so excited to get there its kinda nice. I go other places too but the longer trips kill me when I just cant wait to be there :D
