    Interesting. I've seen fire extinguishers made into lamps but never musical instruments.

    Those are very nice. Where do you find all the old instruments?

    I found them all on eBay. I have a viola, one more french horn, a small banjo, still to make. Also the horn part of a tuba(brass) that I am going to make a coffee table out of.
    And BTW they are all for sale..('<img src=../Images/icons/icon_smile_cool.gif border=0 align=middle alt="Cool">');

    Very nice! Do you sell them or give them as gifts or both? Whereabouts in northern Michigan are you, typan?

    Nice..That CG over looks Foote Dam I think. I have done alot of canoeing, I have done the
    Grayling to Oscoda trip a few times. Takes 5-7 days, camping out along the way. Alot of peaceful fun.
    Have fun ..

    Yep, Old Orchard is right next to the dam.

    I'll bet that would be one heck of a camping trip, paddling that distance, but you're right...very peaceful. And the scenery is something else. A friend of mine paddles that stretch of the river in the canoe race every year. Better him than me. :)

    That is really creative! We have lived as far north as Grand Rapids, MI. I can sympathize with the need to find winter time hobbies up your direction.

    We like the viola and the clarinet, and would really like to see the banjo when your finished with it.
