Hacienda de Howard
We usually camp with our yellow lab tagging along with us and leave her dog crate at home so we just started calling it the family crate
Our PUP is named Dwight. We chose that name after the character in the office... it's more than a tent, and not quite the full RV. Like Dwight was the assistant to the manager, a little more than a regular employee, but not an actual assistant manager....
And we've decided that if we ever upgrade to something more, the new/better one will be name Michael...
May name the Aliner "Bartle", and the Sylvansport Go "James", as in Bartle & James...but probably not...may name the Ranger 10 "Cracker Box", & the Go "Wagon Train" or "Rawhide", 2 of my favorite westerns as a kid...like women, don't try to understand 'em, just rope, tie, & brand 'em...
We’re big Owl lovers so the plate on our white Subaru is SNYOWL
We have snowy owls here in Maine so it fit. The plate on our white Aliner is, OWLETE.
Never understood naming an inanimate object such as a car etc. The closest we came to doing this was referring to a vehicle with constant issues as 'the sh*tbox'.
“Rocky” the Rockwood PUP. Credit to my wife for the name.
Ours is Rocky as well. Not a Rockwood, though. Named by my son while he was still REALLY into Paw Patrol.
Saw a post somewhere years ago by Planet Swan (daughter of Billy Swan) who called her apartment or room The Swan Dive. Named my first trailer that after decorating it with sun records memorabilia. When I traded it for the clipper, I kept the decor and the name, but it shortened to Swannie soon after.
The trailer is Lackland (because he shares the driveway with Swannie rather than having land of his own). Call him Lackie for short.
The SUV has always been "The Durango" - don't know why, just nothing ever seemed to fit.
I see nothing wrong with naming vehicles, etc. Heck, I named my kidney stone George.
I've never officially named an inanimate object, either. But at times, when talking to DH, I do refer to ours as the Hillbilly Hilton. I can't take credit for making it up. I've read that, along with Redneck Ramada multiple times on the internet. Can't remember where.
Go with this! Mine would be Liberty Rendezvous
Our camper is officially named now, using the above name chart. Welcome to the family, Super Rover!
Using the chart, mine is “Mountain Explorer”. Ya, that’s not happening. Neat chart, though.
Ours is a Starmaster and it's the Star-Lord. I'm going to make a vinyl decal to go under Starmaster to put on it to say Star-Lord.
Travel Desperado here!
Adventure Express? Ahhhh, I don't think so....lol
Orchid- I love your avatar pic!
My 3 year old niece named it the pirate ship this weekend while camping.
