We've all seen strange things in nature and hopefully took a picture of it. I ran across this wasp nest a couple of months ago. Trying to figure out what the addition could be. Kids play house, mother-in-law suite, man cave. she shed, overflow area, time out, quarantine area, etc.

Probably quarantine area. You know they say that insects are more sensitive to pending disasters than humans. They probably detected this coming back in the fall.

This Pignut Hickory nut landed in a Crepe Myrtle at the house. What are the odds of the nut having a hole in the right place, dropping at the right time, the hole being in the correct position, dropping at the right speed, the myrtle having a limb broke of the right size, branch stub at the right angle, correct wind speed, etc.
