NC- Sad sight (site?)

    I drove past "our" CG @ Oregon Inlet today, it was a sad sight to see. No campers. No rangers. Not a stitch of canvas. It's closed for the season, chains across the entrance. At least we got one trip in this year.

    Appreciative that it will be reopening in the spring...B_K

    Something else to look forward too Charlie.......North Carolina is supposed to have a state parks reservation system sometime next spring!

    we've been staying down at frisco woods as of late, even when we had the RV, plus they will let you stay even off season if you ask nice...we got a REALLY reduced rate when I made a fishing run last jan and tent camped for 3 days

    During our vacation found a campground over on roanoke island. Pretty basic but close to nags head with out going down to roadanthe. I will try to find the info on it.
