We just bought two 6v batteries and wired them in series which gives us 225ah. I know we need a good 3-stage charger but after perusing the internet, my head is spinning. I have NO idea what we need or what will even be sufficient for what we have.

Any help or recommendations would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Hope you invested in AGM batteries ...
Here's a great little charger from HFT ['reg price' $30 but its always on sale for $20]
Its designed to be permanently attached and left with the batteries but that's not necessary; when the green light comes on you can disconnect it but its nice to always have your batteries ready to go.

Here's a shot of mine; its been plugged in since last camping trip in May

Here you can see the voltage after its reached full charge and shut down to trickle charge

FYI HFT also sells a cheaper charger that they claim is OK for AGM batteries
many reviewers say they use it on AGM but the first thing in the manual

    is this:

I will recommend the Black & Decker VEC1089.

Has 15A, 10A and 2A charge settings. Also has equalization and reconditioning (desulphation) settings.
