need the name of this awning part so I can get new ones

    Does this thing have a name? It supports my awning pole, and I need to replace but it's hard to search without the right search terms.

    try awning ball end base. Do you know what the manufacturer of the awning is?
    i wonder if a Dometic ball end base used for the trimline awning would work?

    Thanks. I have no idea what kind of awning it it . . . I'm not the original owner, and it is not the original awning either.

    Looking at the OP's pic I'd think rubber leg tips would be a suitable fix.

    You might want to take a look at this video first. I made this modification to my bag awning a few months ago. I have since started using the quick disconnect pins instead of the bolt and wing nut.

    I think I'll try rubber leg tips; they are pretty inexpensive, so if it doesn't work at least I'm not out by much. plus I could repurpose them on some chairs
