@sea-piner I've only owned one other male dog, and he was an adult rescue and was already neutered. I have had two male cats and had them neutered and their testicles were gone afterward. So now, we have a male dog that just got neutered this week. We paid to have him neutered, all his shots, mircro-chipped, and he turned out to be heartworm positive, so have him on meds for that before he can go on Trifexis. We found him in a ditch, paralyzed, last summer, and was probably being eaten alive by mosquitoes, so no surprise there. He's now gained 15 pounds and deemed was finally deemed in good enough health for all his shots and surgery. I never actually LOOKED because he took his own bandage off, so I didn't have to. Well, today, he laid on his back and it was clear that he not only still has testicles, but they are bigger than ever! Do they do something different these days? Although we keep our dogs with us 100% of the time, when camping, I still want them fixed to avoid any potential issues.
