Nice job. It looks great! What? You didn't like the stripes? ;)

I'm itching to do the same thing with ours, but my hubby thinks that "if it ain't broke...". I'll have to work on him slowly, since we just got our PUP this year. He keeps saying - "we only spent $275 and you want to keep putting money into it". Yep! My theory - we only spent $275 for it, so what the heck!".

Anyway, nice job! They look great. I'll look forward to seeing your privacy curtains too. Those I AM making this winter, as ours was without them when we got it. Just have to find the right fabric.

Thanks jenmel. The privacy curtains are a mermaid pattern and it looks really nice. All I have to do is make the hems on them. My DH says the same thing but the cushions in the camper were the original ones. I think after 33 years it was time for a change. Plus they really smelled like mothballs. It has taken me 3 years to get the smell of mothballs out of the camper.

Wow, jenmel, makes me want to go to the beach. Love the work you did. Good job. Lightened up the pup, I bet it makes you feel cleaner to be inside too. Seems like the dark colors just look worn and dirty after so many years. Of course DH won't hear of changing our pup. He likes it the way it is. (but really I think he likes his wallet the way it is):) ;) ya know how these men are. Good job though.

I forgot to mention that the fabric I used was a microfiber. It almost feels like a soft suede.

How did you make those cushion covers? What a great idea! I'm going to have to think that through and update mine.

I am making new curtains! I am only making them for the 2 side windows (over table and over sink). Then I am making the ruffle to go around the perimeter of the ceiling. I wanted a camping motif, but ended up with frogs for the ruffle. I was out-voted by my kids. Frogs and camping still go together.

Does anyone have any other pictures of cool curtains? I'd like some ideas on how to fancy them up...

I don't have the pics of the curtains yet but once I get them done I will get them posted.

For the cushion covers I bought 3 full size futon covers. I took 2 of the covers and just inserted the foam and sewed the overage on the bottom. This way if I have to take the covers off, I can just take out the few tacking stitches I put in and unzip the cover.

For the dinette and gaucho cushions, I took apart the last cover and cut my pieces to match.

Your pup is just so inviting. My hubby and I are planning on painting our pups insides white and putting in a new floor. We think that your renovations just make it so very pretty and fresh.
I love the flooring as well.
    WOW.

If all else fails, get a new else.
