Hello, New to pop-up camping. My wife and I just purchased a '95 Jayco 1206 near our current location on the Central Coast of California. We now have two children and decided to upgrade from our 4 person dome tent that has covered the two of us through some amazing experiences across the country. The 1206 has needed a little work, so far nothing I can't handle with a little help from my family back home and my new friends on PUP. My tow vehicle is a 2016 Toyota Sienna with a few modifications, not the least of which is a battery isolating solenoid to disconnect the trailer power and the brake controller when the vehicle is off. My biggest fear while traveling was going into a restaurant or store and coming out to find the trailer had drained the tow vehicle battery. Fear resolved. Thanks everyone for the help, I have been searching this site regularly for the past three months to learn about purchasing, maintaining, and repairing my 23 year old pop-up. - MPrachar
