Hey all those native New Mexicans and all others who would attend.
Just gauging interest in a New Mexico Winter Rally. We have many places here that are winter friendly camping in the southern part of the state with electric and dry camping, most with full service restrooms "With Showers" and Riverside Campground has the only Designated RV Rally site in the state.

There are many more places that are dry camping only with great facilities including our favorite Aguirre Springs overlooking White Sands NM.

Sounds good to me. Which one is Riverside? Pvt. or public? If all depends on timing, as usual.

Riverside is below the Caballo Lake Dam. It is a popular place for organized events as it has a large covered pavilion and group BBQ and fire pits.
There are electric sites and dry sites there but the rally site is dry.
We really enjoy camping here as it is only an hour from our home in Las Cruces.

January is hit and miss for temps down here but Nov Dec, and February are very predictable and usually very nice.

We're heading to AZ, for Thankgiving (Karchner SP) and I have one weekend in Feb already booked, I just don't remember which one.
I think Caballo is a nice distance for me, never been there.

Our very first night in our pop up was last year at The City of Rocks. It was a cool park...

NM has some of the most interesting outcropping of rocks in the SouthWest!
