I just inherited a pop-up trailer, but the wench/tool to raise it was not with it. Any idea where to get a new one. I know absolutely nothing about it but I am anxious to raise the roof and see what the inside looks like.

Well, you didn't list what make/model of p'up you have. Popupparts.com is a place to look as well as other places. You might just want to internet search for a replacement crank for whatever make/model you have and see what comes up. You might even be able to find one on Ebay or something. Have you looked down where it connects to see what the fitting is? A deep well socket might fit it, although I would not do that on a regular basis.

If the winch has a solid oval bar where the handle attaches this crank should work. If it has a 1" square hollow tube it should be this one.

Campers never come with a wench, you always have to get your own, or be your own. Search "winch".

Have to admit, I giggled the first time I read the OP. According to the hubs a camping wench is essential equipment.

This might sound silly, but can you open the door? Tool might be laying inside.

Michelle's post is a good thing to look for. We keep a plastic milk crate just inside the door to hold the up/down supplies: crank handles for winch and stabilizers, chocks, leveler, leveling blocks, donut for the tongue wheel, paper towels for hand cleanup. First thing out, last thing to go in.
It might be laying on the floor somewhere. Also check on the bunks, might have put it on or under the mattress.
You won't see it anywhere, go buy one, then you'll find it somewhere. Guaranteed, lol.

Oh, sorry, I misread your name. That's what I get for reading stuff on my little phone while I'm sitting here in the waiting room, lol.

Amazon sells replacement cranks, along with drill attachments to use. I had a beast of a time popping up my 95 Coleman Avalon until I got under and lubed everything. Goes up like a dream now.
